Plans for the New Year

I  dream that New Year will be a busy one for my creativity. My plans for 2014 are huuuge and so is my yarn stash!
Just started some kind of owlie design, two more WIP'S  are still in progress
My yarn stash is not so tiny one however the photo shows the super bulky weight yarn only.
I do have more other yarn weights in my stash too.

Lettuce pretzels and remake in DLG

I became the owner of malabrigo baby silkalpaca and caught myslef staring at them all the time... But all maths work and charts had to be done until they will run right into my needles, there are no option of ripping. I really don't like to destroy my work and especially to destroy such yarn.

 Since I had Adriafil DLG in my stash and it's 1000 meters of ultra lacy yarn I had an idea to use my prepared design in two sizes and it will be something I haven't designed before but were dreaming of it.  Luckily the most hard moment of CO way to many stitches passed and I'm knitting it like mad.

White Whiter Whitest

Asia's first communion is fast approaching.
I decided to design a bolero to that special occasion. Hope I'll end both project and designing part on time. Deadline is at May 11'th.


Komunia Asi zbliża się wielkimi krokami, a ja właśnie kombinuję jej bolero. Sprawa się nieco komplikuje i wydłuża, kiedy równocześnie spisuję wzór, a ciuszek ma być w stanie skończonym i gotowym do użytku już za tydzień.

New stripey project

Resulted in this design below. Sometimes it's pretty hard to choose which one should be the Right Side...


Paski, jak widać poniżej, są moją słabością ostanio. Czasem długo się zastanawiam, która strona ma być prawą, a która lewą, bo obie mi się podobają...

Granny squares on the bench

I still work on this granny squares blanket but mostly in meantime or late at nights when all my writting or creating work are mostly done. I love making those granny squares because they are so easy to crochet and the progress is coming fast. Not to mention that I'm disposing most yarns of my stash. Nice way to loose your yarn mountain a lil' bit, ha?
In this photo is also shown small part of my girls new bench, which hubby made them for my request. It's awesome! We all love it but girls love the most.
I already planned to make cushions to cover sitting area. 

And my Christmas Tree Ornament was again included in this and this georgeous Etsy Treasury featured by Simona Benetyte-Mikutaviciene and Andy Blowers.

WIP

When I'm so busy with writting, crocheting, knitting, etc., on my balcony is growing super big fruit of lemon. It's as huge as my hand, hoping it will change the color from green to yellow soon because I'd like to add flake to my green tea :)
 

Even my violet bean is blowing nicely...
 

... but my most unticiapted WIP is this lady above. I just can't wait patiently to finnaly do her body, hair and face. Love to sew these waldorf dolls, there's something magical in it, really.

Moja cytryna na balkonie sobie dojrzewa w jesiennym słoneczku, fasola zaczyna kwitnienie (może zdąży coś obrodzić przed zimą?). No i czeka sobie na moją uwagę pewna mała dama. Boszzzzzzzz, jak ja uwielbiam szyć te laleczki waldorsfkie, już nie mogę się doczekać, kiedy po napisaniu wzoru wezmę ją w ręce.

I'm color addict

I love all colors and am using them whenever it is possible. It can be easily seen in all my projects. My favourite color is white. My family wardrobe contains white as a base color and now when we have summer over here I'm using that color as a mian piece of our outfits. However I can't imagine how our wardrobe would look without other colors?! Everything paired to white look georgeous, even black, right? 

But what about pink, lilac? Why such a lot of people hate that colors? Even on little girls? We are sorrounded by every single color our mother nature created for us in flora and fauna world and I'm just using them. Why should I hate any color? Even if I love less orange and yellow I still think they are so beautiful and when we use them for pairing with other colors we could get an amazing color pallete, could't we? So I'm not afraid to show you how many colors I'm using for this pillow beacuse I think they look amazing together and without every those colors my pillow wouldnt be complete.  

Jestem uzależnina od kolorów, uwielbiam je wszystkie i ta moja miłość jest widoczna w moich projektach, nie będę się wypierać ;) Mój ulubiony kolorek to biały, klasycznie, ale używam go do połączeń z innymi kolorami, bo moim skromnym zdaniem wygląda świetnie z każdym kolorem, nawet czarnym, nie? Ale co z różowym, fioletowym? Dlaczego tak wiele osób go nie znosi? Nawet na małych dziewczynkach? Cała nasza ziemska flora i fauna zawiera także i te kolory, no to ja korzystam z mądrości matki natury pełnymi garściami, bez żadnego zażenowania, bo dlaczego miałabym nienawidzieć jakiegoś koloru i unikać go absolutnie we wszystkim? I nawet kiedy przyznaję się bez bicia, że dwa kolory - pomarańczowy i żółty, podobają mi się troszkę mniej, to i tak uważam, że w połączeniu z jakimś innym kolorem stworzą niezłą gamę kolorystyczną. 
Nie boję się zatem pokazywać Wam jak dużo pstrokatych kolorów używam do poszewki, bo według mnie razem wyglądają cudownie i nie wyobrażam sobie by któregoś koloru z tej palety mogło  zabraknąć w tej poszewce.

I'm still alive

and am super busy: 

decided to crochet pillow cover for Julia, made this basket in which all materials are gathered, 

dyed some wool roving in mix of violets and lavenders which is planned to be dolls hair and spent my time mostly entertainig my kiddos during their summer vacations - we often visited our local pond. 

My li'l one watching Reksio and Bolek i Lolek today morning - just like kitty.  

Ciągle żyję, nawet rzekłabym, że dość intensywnie, jak na wakacje z dziećmi przystało :) 
Jestem w trakcie popełniania poszewki na Julisiową poduszeczkę (a może i popełnię ich wiecej?). Koszyczek widoczny na górze jest również moim wytworem - z papierowej wikliny oczywiście. Docelowo miał być pojemniczkiem na pieczywo, ale ciągle czeka na płócienną wkładkę, więc póki co niech spełnia się w nieco innej roli, nie? 
Zaszalałam znów z dwoma odcieniami fioletu i czesanki wełnianej, co ma się stać włosami laleczki waldorfskiej ;) 
No i na ostatnim zdjęciu moje najmłodsze dziecię a'la kocio wczesnym rankiem podczas oglądania Reksia i Bolka i Lolka (jak fajnie, że jim jam zaczął nadawać te bajki, nie?)

On my working schedule

Seems like my blog pretend to be mommy blog lately not crafty so must post a little update.

Pastels and stripes are my main determinants now and something more... but will not tell you so far.Sorry.

Hoping that all bad March/April illness won't happen to any of us soon and there won't be to much free school days so I can find myself at much more work; just dreaming about so many designs...

Ps. What happend to blogger during my absence? Do I really have no other way but like that layout? I guess I have to.

In Full Bloom

...and they are blooming beautifully finally! Must share with you that before kids I used to have many flowers and they were everywhere in my house. I was a flower collector and sheared sprouts of newest flowers with my neighbour/friend. She still is in love with flowers (especially orchids) but my love for flowers waned when kids appeared in my life. Not because they needed too much care but because some of them were often distracted by kids, some grown into little trees (YES, THEY DID!!!) and I had to give them to other flower lovers.

When we are at flowers subject, here is something flowery around me. Not a real one but so colorful and crocheted in a very interesting method. I fell in love with this way of crocheting flowers and probably will use this 3D flowers effect in one more design.

Happy Valentine's Day!

In case you were wonedered why there's been lack of posts lately, below is first reason:


...an unfinished Valentines theme project. I mixed & matched Valentine's colors and all pieces shown above will be included in this design. All I can tell you so far that this is gonna be a jacket ;)

The second reason I didn't fit in time frames with it was a bad flu my kids suffered lately (Julia is still ill). Plan is to show you this design onto my dear personal model Joanna pretty soon and pattern release at the end of this year.

From another front

The first one thing I'm working on in meantime is ripple (or chevron) blanket. As you can see it already can be folded in a few layers. It's intended target will be covering my couch.


The second one thing being knitted/crocheted in meantime is a blanket inspired by this Mia's one. It's supposed to be snug blankie, especially during someone's naps or grown ones movie watching ;)

Yes, still in X-mas theme :). I'm busy making more embelishments and planning one more for upcoming Christmas.

What I've Been up to...

On my needles are actually cabled hats from hand spun yarn. Pattern is so easy and I'm already planning to knit cowls and gloves too.

And here is my blankie progress. I think I've got about yard hard crochet work in only one sand colour. BORING(!!!), but must finish it.

I do not like Mondays :/ I've even had a nightmare about Monday family rush!
Hoping your Mondays are better.

Sneak peek

Well, It's been a while when I wrote last time and the reason is that I'm really not lazy but very busy these days... I'm mom of three kids and with them time just fly around our day routine. My spare time is occupied by crocheting and knitting mostly but writing blog was to much for me. I hope to change it finnally because I've got so much to show you and write about so conclusion is that I really really missed blogging :)
Here I'm back with showing you some of my WIP projects. One of them (red to be exact :) ) is on my priority list now. Planning to finish it this week and maybe I'll take some good modelling photos.

Witam po dłuższej przerwie w blogowaniu, która nie wynikła z tego powodu, iż jestem na tę działalność zbyt leniwa, ale raczej zbyt zapracowana ostatnimi czasy... Jestem mamą trójki dzieciaczków, więc siłą rzeczy czas wypełnia mi głównie rutyna dni powszednich. Wolne chwile poświęcam na szydełko i druty, ale kosztem blogowania, bo niestety takich wyborów byłam zmuszona dokonywać. Mam nadzieję wkrótce ten niechlubny stan rzeczy zmienić poświęcając więcej czasu i energii w kształtowanie mojej strony, bo tak naprawdę tęskniłam już za pisaniem bloga :)
Wracając jednak do tytułu posta: to są efekty moich ostatnich niedokończonych poczynań. Jedno z nich (w czerwieni dokładniej :) ) mam w planach skończyć w tym tygodniu i zaprezentować w postaci zdjęć. Zatem do szybkiego wpisu :)

Mei Tai w procesie, włóczkowo - miluśkie zdobycze i śliniaczek

Nie pisałam tutaj dość długo, więc tym razem będzie długi post i sporo zdjęć.

Well, I havn't written here for a long time so now will be a long post and many photos.

Napatrzyłam się sporo na piękne Mei Taje z Tulikowa i Doliny błękitnych kwiatów i cóż... też zapragnęłam taki mieć. Na zdjęciach poniżej w fazie zszywania. Było z tym nie lada problemów, ale na szczęście moja maszyna słucha się mnie i chyba w zasadzie więcej ona sobie z tym klopsem poradziła ;)

I was watching beautiful Mei Tai's from Tulikowo and Dolina blekitnych kwiatow
and well... wanting something like that. On photos below you can see sewing process.
There were some problems with it but luckily my sewing machine listens to me and
in principle it made it.




Mei Tai jest już skończony i miał już swój debiut podczas wyprawy do centrum (oczywiście z Julką w środku :)) Musiałam sobie jakoś wynagrodzić dżwiganie "słodkiego ciężaru", a chyba nie ma lepszej nagrody niż fajna włóczka,tym razem fanatazyjny polar z błyszczącą nitką.

Mei Tai is now being done and already had it's debout during little trip in the middle of my town ( with Julie inside of course:)) I just had to reward myself for
"carrying the weight of sweet" and there isn't probably better award from new yarn. This time polar with shiny thread.



Żeby nie było, że tylko szyję ostatnio otrzymałam takie oto miluskie cuda z yarn-paradise:

Well, I'm not sewing all the time so received such softy yarns from yarn-paradise:



Włóczkowo troszkę szaleję ostatnio, więc nie mogło obejść się bez zamówienia w zamotanych. Kupiłam Frigyję dk w cudownych kolorach świątecznej czerwieni i limonki. Włóczka ta wyglądała mi już na zdjęciach sklepowych na mięciutką i aksamitną w dotyku, mogę napisać jedynie, że absolutnie nie pomyliłam się, jest tym czego szukałam. Będzie świetna na jesienno - zimowe ciuszki.
O drutach Addi nie muszę Wam chyba nic pisać macie je wszystkie, teraz mam i ja :) Dwóch rozmiarków używanych najczęściej przeze mnie nie było, ale poczekam sobie na dostawę. Uwielbiam dziergać na bambusowych drucikach, ale nowe druty będą tu nie lada konkurencją.

I got crazy a bit with yarn shopping lately so bought some knitting supplies in zamotane. Frigya dk is in awesome christmas colors in red and grass. This yarn is so soft and velvety in touch. I can tall you that was looking just for this kind of yarn and it will be great for autumn - winter designs.
I don't have to write you a lot about Addi needles - everyone has it so now I am :)
I love to knit on my bamboo needles but Addi may be some alternative for them.



Te zachwalane Addi nie mogły długo czekać, czym prędzej wzięłam je w obroty, tym bardziej, że końcówki mięciutkiej bawełenki czekały na jakieś natchnienie i oto ono jest! Śliczny dziergany śliniaczek dla mojej Julki z tej strony.

Those great Addi needles couldn't wait any more so as soon as possible I started knitting the more that cotton yarnovers were waiting for some insiration and it really is! Cute knitted bib just for my Julie from this site.

If everything goes well I'm gonna knit much more those cute bibs from this designer.

Mężowy sweter

Postanowiłam, nie wiedzieć czemu, zrobić sweter dla męża. Nie przepadam za męskimi ubraniami, bo zbyt dużo czasu schodzi na wydzierganie ich, poza tym nie można sobie poszaleć z teksturą i kolorem, ale mimo wszystko wyszperałam model z Phildara, który bardzo mi się podoba, jest też w stylu mojego P, czyli troszkę sportowy i zarazem elegancki (tak przynajmniej mi się wydaje :)

Niestety dopadło mnie przeziębienie i nie mam motywacji do czegokolwiek, poza wygrzewaniem się w łóżeczku, więc zaangażuję chyba do pomocy najstarszego ;)

I decided, no one knows why, make sweater for hubby. I don't like knitting males clothes because they're time consuming and not many technics and colors may be used. In spite of that I found one model from Phildar which took my attention. It's in my P style - a little bit in sports and ellegance way (anyway I think like that :)

Unoftunatelly I've cought flu and don't have any motivation for knitting or crocheting except sleeping in bed, so maybe I'm gonna take some help from my oldest kid;)
