Mrs Basia hat

Some time ago I was asked by my sis' MIL to knit her a hat with linning inside.
I couldn't refuse such awesome lady as she is. She and my mom often takes care about my sister's son and my son.
My kids love her like their own grandma.

  She is also a knitter
but knitting in round isn't too familiar for her.
Mrs Basia often watched my projects "in action" and was amazed with no seaming in them.

She asked me if that could be no problem if this hat would be seamless also.
Well, I only knit like that.
Mrs Basia liked the hat and ased me for a pair 40" circular needles since she couldn't find them in any Local Yarn Store.
Now when I gave her those short circulars I am impatiently waiting for her seamless project.

Benefit once again

OK, I can say it officially, I did knit one design 3 times!

For this project I've spun right yardage of wool,
dyed it and gave it a try.
Can you belive I was left with only two tiny balls of yarn?!

Now this design is preparing for testing process,
just need some final touches in pattern to make it clear.
Just contact me if you'd like to test knit this sweater blouse.
More details can be found here.

The autumn wheather forced us with our youngest Julia for photoshoot in Kadzielnia
There are many hills in my town but Kadzielnia is a very special one with some amazing views.

Bind off means Cast On also

I finally finished the Halina shawl, blocked it and now it's ready to be gifted as Birthday present for my dear mom.

I wouldn't be myself without casting on onto another design.
This one was waiting to long to finally run onto my needles.

Accidentally I also casted on with the DLG leftovers from my last shawl design and a shawl which I made a few years back.
The most exciting news is that this one is meant to be a freebie one!

In awaiting stage

My benefit number 3 is patiently awaiting for photoshoot.
It is pretty hard to mix sunny wheather with my hubby free of work day. So me and my Benefit are waiting...
And two tiny skeins of my own yarn are left for something else.

Since I've learnt a lot about writting a pattern in a wide range of sizes  during writting up Babette, I'm having much smooth work on Benefit.
Would you ever belive how much maths work contains the pattern?
Well, I use Fibonacci points for grading sizes and am satisfied so far.

I am slowly knitting a shawl too.
This yarn is so teribly thin that it is a real challenge for me
but since this pattern already have my mommy name and is designed to be a present for her I do have lots of motivation to finish it.
But am also promising myself this is the last time I'm knitting with such thin yarn.

New line in my projects

I don't like to say it in public but the winter surpried me this year. I really hoped to make booties for Julia and Asia just on time before winter, well this snow appeared to early for me. Let's get some wintery power and create more, snow is very inspirational, so my hook will be busy this week.

So let's start my booties line from this project made for Julia. She likes three layers of ruffles so much on them and feels so cosy when her feet are always in rush. I am even pleased with the final result and planning to make more...

...for myself, when am awake early to write patterns or to knit/crochet it would be lovely to wrap feet in something both warm and comfortable. Must mention that Asia's version is already half done ;)

Middle of autumn, starting to snow outside and how clever I was last days to get inside our strawberry plants with fruits being in grow! Somebody's little hand on it is hoping to eat whitin few days!

Latest projects

Today there will be briefly because my boys are in church right now and I must prepare Julia for sleeping and Joanna for school. So I'm flying solo for one hour :) Let's get back to the main subject, I've done recently two baby blankets, one more is in making and if you're following my facebook page you could see preview pic.

Both of them are made from Medusa cotton Polish yarn which I accept only for blankets and using 3.5mm crochet hook.

But not only blankets were done this past week and the most funny thing happend to me and Joanna on friday when after a photo shooting of this hat I lost all photos while copying into my lap, don't know how it happend. Only this one pic survived. Fun times ;)

Benefit again

Just had to make another version of Benefit. White or off white blouses are always needed in my wardrobe.

Nie miałam wyjścia, musiałam zrobić sobie kolejną bluzeczkę, wzór ten sam co poprzednio - Benefit.

I think this blouse suits me great, it's comfortable and fits to almost every body shape.

Leży i nosi się naprawdę śwetnie i spokojnie może podkreślać walory chyba każdej figury.

Made from Amade Cheval Blanc and I'm very amazed with this yarn! It's so soft probably thanks to cashmere addition. I'm sur this is not my last design with Amande!

Powstała z fantastycznej Amande Cheval Blanc, która to włóczka zadziwiła mnie swoją miękkością. Mieszanka bawełny i kaszmiru, toż to niebo na drutach!

Now, the most tricky part should be done - writting pattern in different adult sizes.

No, a teraz małe schodki przede mną - rozpiska wzoru z uwzględnieniem podziału na "dorosłe" rozmiary.

In the news...

Welcome back after long summer break! Seems like I was pretty lazy lately? No way, I was so busy, even if had to take some vacations break. I've created this little caravan application, pattern for it will be released in a few days. Finished second Benefit blouse which is already blocking and expecting some photo shoot soon. Almost finished a sweet little crochet creation and pattern for it is in writting process right now.

Witam powakacyjnie!

My hubby was also busy lately and soon I will show you what faboulous spinnig tool he made for me! Photos today evening!

Ale... ale, nie tylko ja byłam zajęta, małż skonstruował  niezwykle przydatne narzędzie do... no właśnie wszystko będzie jasne dziś wieczorkiem.
