Lace or fingering?

That's a question I have but do not care so much about it. If the thread will be to thin I'm gonna spin it into 2 ply. 

The problem is when it will be done because spinning such tiny thread takes much time, which I don't have in excess. Although it's addicting I'd totally stay at crocheting and knitting as my main time fillers.

Laurka dla mamy/Congratulatory scroll for mummy

This beautiful congratulatory scroll was initially made by Joasia for me but... was sent by Joasia's plastic teacher for a competition and was awarded!!! How proud I am now as a mummy of one talented girl I have! I'm double proud beacause the work she got award was made for me!
 

Joasia was so happy after a phone call with great news and much more happy while receving diploma and prize :) 

Even if this face seems to be blown away of what happend, we  celebrated her success with botle of champagne (alcohol free - don't worry) and wishing her much more such awards. 

Tomorrow is Mother's Day in Poland and must consider that my work as mum was probably well done so far :)

Wool roving dyeing

My first attempt at wool dyeing, I did dye a lot my clothes when was teenager but with wool it's not so easy. 

I've got already big plans with this roving but my drop spindle is super busy right  now with another roving, which will be dyed after spinned. Tomorrow I'll show you how's my thread looking.

Another kind of hobby

...I'm addicted to.

I missed posting and no wonder have to share with you my next "level" of knitting.
Update: the spindle is made by my hubby and I'm so blown away how great it works! WOW!
